Dynamic Network Loading of Multiple User-Classes with the Link Transmission Model
نویسندگان
چکیده
This extended abstract shows how multiple userclasses can be considered in the link transmission model for dynamic network loading. The method assumes triangular fundamental diagrams for each user-class for which only equal shockwave speed are necessary. The link model is reconsidered; normalizations are link dependent. A simple test case is shown.

Solving Multiple Fuels Dynamic Environmental/Economic Dispatch Problem and Incentive Based Demand Response Considering Spinning Reserve Requirements
In this paper a new integrated model of the dynamic environmental/economic dispatch (DEED) problem and emergency demand response program (EDRP) has been presented by which their interactions are investigated. DEED schedules the online generators power output over the whole dispatch period subject to some practical constraints so that the fuel costs and emission are optimized simultaneously. EDR...
متن کاملMalmquist Productivity Index with Dynamic Network Structure
Data envelopment analysis (DEA) measures the relative efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) with multiple inputs and multiple outputs. DEA-based Malmquist productivity index measures the productivity change over time. We propose a dynamic DEA model involving network structure in each period within the framework a DEA. We have previously published the network DEA (NDEA) and the dynamic DEA ...
متن کاملThe General Link Transmission Model for Dynamic Network Loading and a comparison with the DUE algorithm
The Continuous Dynamic Network Loading problem is here addressed for given splitting rates, hence allowing for implicit path enumeration. To this aim, a macroscopic flow model for road links based on the Kinematic Wave Theory is coupled with a node model with priority rules at intersections, thus reproducing congested networks including queue spillback. The result is the General Link Transmissi...
متن کاملAdvanced OR and AI Methods in Transportation THE LINK TRANSMISSION MODEL: AN EFFICIENT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE KINEMATIC WAVE THEORY IN TRAFFIC NETWORKS
This paper describes a numerical solution method for a dynamic network loading model that is consistent with the first order kinematic wave theory. The proposed procedure, called link transmission model (LTM), only requires calculations at network nodes. Compared to the cell transmission model (CTM), the computational complexity of the LTM is about n times smaller for the same level of accuracy...
متن کاملAn integrated model for designing a distribution network of products under facility and transportation link disruptions
Due to occurrence of unexpected disruptions,a resilient supply chain design is important. In this paper, a bi-objective model is proposed for designing a resilient supply chain including suppliers, distribution centers (DCs), and retailers under disruption risks. The first objective function minimizes total costs. The second objective function maximizes satisfied demands. We use the augmented e-...
